Customers rave about the food, highlighting dishes like the succulent Bacon Wrapped, Sage and Onion Stuffed Turkey Breast and the well-loved Codfather, showcasing their commitment to quality and generous portions. Cute little traditional pub (no TVs, no music), staff were really busy all night, friendly atmosphere. Fabulous food (e.g. whole sole with salad and chips that were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle) and local beer (e.g. Tribute from St Austell).

We had a lovely meal in the bar, filled with locals, and a nice, quiet upstairs room; just steps away from the quayside where we were watched by a seal, only feet away. Mevagissey in January can be delightful

Amazing food in a lovely old pub. If you have a big appetite, try the Codfather! The scallops were delicious too. Definitely recommend

I've just eaten the scallops and they were fantastic. Lovely and juicy in a very tasty sauce. A decent portion of a nice salad too. Very friendly and smiley staff. Great lunch overall. Thank you.

This is the most delightful pub in Mevagissey. Situated just around the corner from the quay, you enter into the cosiest of bars. I was welcomed today by a lovely open fire and a selection of well kept St Austell Brewery beers, Hicks, Tribute and Cornish. Good choice of wines. No food today at lunch which is unusual, but a very good looking menu using local produce and daily specials . The fish and chips is simply outstanding... beautiful fresh cod perfectly coated and cooked in a light crisp and golden batter with your choice of peas, garden or mushy. Definitely worth a visit!
